What’s the Deal With O-Rings

What O-ring grade do you recommend to use in the quick release fitting that hold the wand tip? We have been using black and between the heat and pressure they are blowing out and losing us time.
Answer: Proper maintenance of not only the O-ring, but the pressure nozzle/plug is important in the life of O-rings. If the pressure nozzle plug (portion that snaps into the brass coupler) is worn, sharp or has rough ridges worn into the plug, this can damage the O-ring when the nozzle is removed and replaced.
O-rings come in three different materials rated for different temperatures. Viton is recommended and is the most durable. O-rings are wear items and very inexpensive, keeping a spare supply is a must!
